MATHS SUCCESS CRITERIA AND MARKING SHEET FOR LITERACY.

This will be our learning in Maths and Literacy over the next 10 days. Of course, there will be some children working above and below these levels.



Add 3-digit numbers using efficient written addition.   Subtract by counting up, using a number line; check with addition.


34 – 30 +   4
27 – 20 +   7
        50 + 11
        60 +   1 = 61





Add two 2 and 3 digit numbers using expanded written addition.

Add three 3-digit numbers using contracted written addition
I can subtract a 2 digit number from 100 by using number bonds
Eg 100- 68 =

I can subtract a 3 digit number from a multiple of 100 by counting on. e.g.  402 – 356.

Count up to subtract 3-digit numbers (answers less than 100, e.g. 421 – 356).

Check subtraction using addition. Eg 34- 14 =20 so 20+ 14 =



We will be using recipes and board game rules as materials for the instruction writing genre.
